On our travels through Japan, The Kink College sourced a medium lay Asanawa style jute rope.

It’s made from a natural 6mm untreated jute. It is sold as a natural product that can be used in its natural form or conditioned for a softer feel.

We do sell conditioning products for you to treat your newly purchased Shibari rope, unfortunately at this time we are not selling any pre-conditioned Jute.

Please always remember if you are going to get involve and practice Shibari rope, jute is a natural fibre and will break down in time, and it does sometimes have imperfections, plus it needs looking after, checking and replacing when needed. We recommend that you educate yourself before you start, there are some wonderful resources online or perhaps attend your local rope club for classes and tuition. If you are unsure of what is running in your local area feel free to message us and we can try to point you in the right direction. Look up your local rope club is a great way to meet like-minded new friends.
