This is a Premium Shibari jute rope kit, and it is made up of 6, 8 meter lengths of a natural untreated jute rope. We have also included a 80 gram tin of our rope butter to condition your newly purchased Shibari rope which we normally sell for $16. Plus a set of our Rope Safety Shears, something all rope enthusiasts need in their rope bag. Did someone say rope bag? Yes we include that too. And did we mention it was 5.8mm. We sell all different thickness's of rope from 4.5mm to 7mm, this slightly thinner product once broken in will glide through your hands it doesn't sound much of a difference but once you use it you will feel the pleasurable difference.

As per usual all our Shibari Jute is sold as a natural product that can be used in its natural form or conditioned for a softer feel.

When used in the natural form, all jute will be a little itchy on the skin, in time body oils and hand friction will soften the jute, to speed this process up you can conditioning the jute which will give a more softer feel. If you're not sure how to do this process please ask us how. We recommend that all our rope products are conditioned using our products either using our rope butter or oils. Please never boil your rope to condition as it damages the product. Our website has a write up on how to condition rope.

Please always remember if you are going to get involve in Shibari rope, jute is a natural fibre and will break down in time, it needs looking after, it does sometimes have imperfections. Please check and replace when needed. We recommend that you attend your local rope club for classes and tuition.
