The Kink College Shibari rope is always cut to 8 meter lengths this product is made of a natural 5mm untreated jute.
It has a medium lay, an Asanawa style jute rope.
It is sold as a natural product that can be used in its natural form or conditioned for a softer feel.
We always recommend buying in a kit as our kits do offer value for money as they are cheaper.
This full kit for $120 includes;
6 x 8 meter 5mm hanks
1 Rope Butter
1 Pair of Safety Shears and
1 TKC Bag.
If you are a beginner to Shibari rope we would recommend that you start tying with 6mm first, 6mm gives that extra support, but once you have your form, 5mm just glides through the fingers, and when conditioned and broken in, your rope it a real pleasure to use.
NB: Please always remember if you are going to get involve in Shibari rope, jute is a natural fibre and will break down in time, it needs looking after, checking and replacing when needed. We recommend that you attend your local rope club for classes and tuition.
